Did She Drop Off The Face Of The Planet?

Wow, haven't had time to blog since almost February... I'll bring you up to speed.

The house sold. We did have to reduce our price, but it closes on Friday. Thank God! We moved to Lincoln. Left Kingman on March 19th and arrived on March 21, staying in Albuquerque and Oklahoma City along the way. Baymont Inns are great! Pet-friendly and free wi-fi! Anyways, that was a little different than we had originally planned. We were going to go up through Colorado and Western Nebraska, but there was like...2 feet of snow on the ground so I-80 was closed. We adapted. Worst snow we saw was between Seligmann & Flagstaff. How weird is that?

Anyways, since we got here I have been trying to unpack. Pictures are finally starting to get on the walls and we got a couple pieces of furniture. We're still adjusting to apartment life. Justin is a bit disillusioned. Our upstairs neighbor complained about our TV being too loud and the volume was down quite low so he was very upset. I don't think we'll be able to do a lot of entertaining here, so we'll probably be looking for a townhome at the end of our 6 month lease. The prospect of another move so soon KILLS though. I don't wanna!!!

Our old roommate Dana and his girlfriend Tahnya came to visit this last week and we had so much fun! We didn't even do as much as we had planned because both Tahnya and Dana got sick at some point during the week. We just chilled those days. Dana did get to try the Nebraska fast food chains of Runza and Culvers, since he'd heard so much about them. We also went shopping at the Gateway Mall, Gordmans, and Kohls. We ate the "Best Wings in Town" from The Watering Hole bar downtown. We checked out Ice Age 2: Meltdown and The Benchwarmers (great movies by the way). We went to Omaha on Saturday and hit the Henry Doorly Zoo, Dave & Busters (a classy restaurant/arcade geared towards adults), and attempted to go to the "Husker Havoc" Demolition Derby before they sold out and about 2,000 people didn't get in! Tahnya and I had a joint birthday party and made cakes that looked like flip-flops. Such fun!

In church-related news...Capitol City didn't make a real great impression. We attended for 2 weeks and tried to become involved in a newlyweds small group. Couldn't get anyone to call us and let us know where to meet at what time. *sigh* On Sunday, we tried First Free Lincoln and loved it. We met one of our friends that we met on TagWorld, Mike, and he introduced us to like...20 people. The worship was great and the senior pastor, Mark, was very down-to-earth and real. Very laid-back and reminded me of our pastor back in Kingman, Walt. We also really connected with the College Age leader, Seth. He was really nice and was very interested in getting our information and keeping in contact. So we gave both he and Mike our cell phone numbers and emails and expected to see them next Sunday. Not so! Mike called us that night to come watch Narnia at Bethany Kerr's house. It ended up being practically 15 people and we felt right at home. Cracking jokes with everyone felt totally comfortable. It was like watching Narnia: Mystery Science Theater 3000. Sooooo much fun!!! Justin and I really had a great time and we're hoping to get together with them again soon.

On American Idol: I'm thoroughly irritated that Mandisa went home this week. She was one of my top 2 picks. Now, I'm all for Chris.

New TV addictions: Dirty Jobs, Mythbusters, Dog the Bounty Hunter, and Fastlane.

Question.... How long is the microphone cord that Bob Barker uses on the Price is Right? And why the heck don't they use a cordless???

One Step Closer

Ok - I have been writing daily updates on the house over email, but not posting them so I will copy/paste them all real quick and then add the newest stuff at the bottom.

2/3 --------------------------------------------------------------

Put up light fixtures last night. Pretty!!! It's making everything look very cohesive. I biffed it with the garage sale this weekend. I had my dates wrong in my head and I missed the deadline for the paper. *sigh* Oh well. I will just be working hard on the house this weekend then. We moved our bed last night, now we just have to clean up and arrange in there. Since it's on the far wall, it makes the room look huge. I'm glad we kind of slowed down, because I think I was going to keel over if we kept that pace. Our new goal to be totally finished is the 12th because we're planning on listing the house on the 13th if Justin's interview on the 9th and 10th go well and I'm sure that we'll meet that goal. I just wish I could've had two garage sales before then. I'd do a garage sale on Friday AND Saturday next week, but since Justin will be out of town, I'd need help. Maybe I'll be able to work it out somehow.

I'm glad that it's almost the weekend. It's seriously draining to work all day and then come home and work harder than the 8 hours previously worked. I feel much more productive when I have a full two days. So much more gets done. Who knows...if we work hard all weekend, things could still be finished or at least much closer to finish on Monday.

I miss having energy!

Thanks for listening to me!

2/6 ----------------------------------------------------------

Well, the weekend's over and the house is beginning to look more like a house. We had lots of other stuff going on this weekend so not much was done on the house, but Justin did tile the studio bathroom, put in the toilet, fix the guest toilet and I finished painting the master bedroom. We'll be arranging the master bedroom probably after work today. We bought baseboards for it and need to install them. I was hoping to paint the trim but I just may not have time. All the new light fixtures up and they look beautiful. We got a new little black spray nozzle for the kitchen sink to replace the broken one. It's a $5 fix that will make someone happy. :)

Tonight, our church is hosting "The Ambassador Singers," a Korean group of teens and adults who sing beautifully. Part of the program is to house some of them overnight and bring that culture back to your home. We'll be taking 2-4 of them. There's plenty of room in our spacious living room!! :) The living room is almost ready for a picture! Just needs cleaned up a bit and I will try to do that after work today.

I'm going to a really loooooong school day today. 6:00-5:30 (it's a 4 day a week school). Pray for me! That includes drivetime - as that is an hour from where I live. Hence why this email is coming to you very EARLY in the morning.

Pray for Justin - he's wearing down. His feet are really dry and cracking from working so much on the house and being so active. He also has been up most of the night with a HORRIBLE headache. He may be calling in. I don't know.

2/7 -----------------------------------------------------------

Yesterday, Justin wasn't feeling very well and stayed home. He had a horrible headache, possibly a migraine? He went back to bed and when he woke up, it was better so he installed baseboards in the master and cut the boards for the guest room. Just waiting on me to paint it now! ;) Always waiting on me, right? Haha... He also installed the light fixture in the guest room.

Last night, we attended the Ambassador Singers concert at our church. The Ambassador Singers are a choir/instrumental group from Daejeon, South Korea, where our boys are from. It was soooooo neat. We've gone for the past two years but it has always been a younger group. This group was all adults and were much more instrumental. They played a traditional service with lots of native drums. It was amazing. I felt like I was in the middle of a University drumline, but they were dancing at the same time!! The whole time I just kept thinking "So-and-so should be here." and "Oh! So-and-so would really have loved this!"

Anyways, part of the experience is to house some of the group that night. We had two ladies (non-English speaking at all) and I was SO PROUD of my boys. They translated wonderfully for us. So polite and gentlemanly!! Hak Jun opened car doors for the ladies and helped them with their things and when we got home Kyung Min chatted them up. It was so wonderful. This morning I am taking Hak Jun to school so he can continue to translate through breakfast and such. They are such a blessing.

Everyday is one step closer to the goal!

------------------------------------

And now, last but not least - the latest pictures from the remodel.

1/25 Update

Well, Justin finished laying the tile in the kitchen last night and it looks gorgeous. We still have to put up the baseboard and put on the new cabinet hardware so I'm gonna wait on the picture until later. I'm getting ready to go paint the studio bathroom before I go to work because I'm only working 12-4 today. We've got big plans today as well. We're going to try to finish the studio bathroom (tile, paint, new showerhead, put the toilet back in) and its already got a fan in the ceiling that Justin installed earlier. We're also going to clear the living room today, and try to get the first coat of paint on. Lofty dreams, I know. You guys know me, I like to dream BIG.

Last night I touched base with my foster sister, Nikki, who lives in Lincoln. She is having a baby boy named Alex in two weeks or sooner. I'm really looking forward to being involved in her and her childrens' lives when we move up there. We have both grown up quite a bit in the last 3 years and I think that God's giving us a second chance. I am excited to spend time with my little nephews D'Angelo and Alex.

This morning, I took our Persian, Little Girl, to the vet for spaying and shots. She did so good! I am a proud mama!! She's only 7 lbs full grown...so small! Her name fits her! She didn't balk at any shots. Just wanted to brag on my baby. :)

STRESS ATTACK!!!

Stress Attack!!!

After being all excited about his interview going well. I came CRASHING down. I just realized what all I have to do and how much it'll all cost.........IN 3 WEEKS!!
The option is, of course, always there that I stay here and Justin leaves a little earlier but sheeeeeeeesh. We haven't heard what day Justin will be flying up to Lincoln, but we're assuming it to be either the end of next week or the week after.
Quick Update on the Moving Situation

Well, we have been very busy around the house. We are in full packing/remodeling mode. Since my last post, we have:
Painted the kitchen, main bathroom, and mud room.
Installed a brand new, larger water heater with a 9 year warranty.
Bought a new stove, in-counter dishwasher, and range hood.
Cleaned out 1/2 the garage.
Packed 12 boxes.
Pre-sold many household items (couch, chair, desk, entertainment center, etc).
Arranged a moving sale for this Saturday (1/21) and began pricing.
Cleaned up the house and de-cluttered it by moving furniture into the empty space in the garage.

Right now, we're measuring for new curtains and baseboards. This evening we're cleaning out the last 1/2 of the garage and taking garbage/discarded items to the back fence to transport to the landfill on Saturday morning. I will continue to price everything til' I turn blue in the face and get the sale signs ready to go out to area corners. Our classified ad is running in the paper today and tomorrow and I've been talking it up as much as I can. A week ago, I made up a list of the 'big stuff' and have been pre-selling that to friends. Yay for quick cash!

Justin has a big job interview this afternoon at 4:30 and it's the job we REALLY want so pray hard! I'm just really blessed to see how this is all working out so easily. I'm just more and more amazed everyday at how you can really tell this is what we're supposed to be doing. I really feel at peace with the direction that our life together is taking right now.

With the big pay-off from the house looming on the horizon, I think I'm starting to count my chickens before they're hatched and am talking to a private party about purchasing a more reliable vehicle. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much but I am really looking forward to this possibility.

Another thought that we've given to the money we might be getting is to use it for LASIK surgery for myself. I have horrible vision and it would be a dream come true to be able to open my eyes in the morning and actually see for the first time in about 15 years. Please keep me in your thoughts for this possibility as well.

Man! So many things to think about. I'm amazed that I haven't had a stroke!

My cousin Melissa is due any day now and I've been thinking a lot about her. It's her first and she and her husband are trying to move at the same time. That could be very difficult so I'm a little worried about her. Last I heard, they had put the condo that they're in now on the market and gotten an offer in on it. No word since then, but if it sold, they'll have to get out SOON. Scary! I can't imagine... a newborn (and all that lack of sleep!) AND moving at the same time??? Talk about stroking out!

Alright - I'd better go. More to come when I have another spare minute someday!

We're well taken care of...

Just got off the phone with Home Depot. I was crestfallen because I have a swamp in my hallway and they were out of water heaters with none arriving for a week. We needed a 30 gallon with a 6 year guarantee. They were out of that as well as the 30 gallon with a 9 year, and a 40 gallon with a 6 year. All that was available was a 40 gallon with a 9 year for $90 more than what we had budgeted to pay. The lady asked to call me back and returned my call 15 minutes later with manager approval to sell me the 40 gallon, 9 year for the price of the 30 gallon, 6 year.

YAY FOR GOOD DEALS!!!

Everytime there's a problem, it's immediately taken care of! WOOT!!!

Such a very long time...

I can't believe how much has happened in the last few weeks. So very many decisions have been made.

First off, our vacation was excellent. We spent two weeks with family and introduced the boys to a whole new region. We had so much fun. The first week was spent with Justin's family, in Norfolk. They live on a golf course so the boys got to try golfing with Chuck and wrecked a golf cart (their first driving experience ever). They were given custom made putters for Christmas along with Nebraska hoodies. Justin got a Nintendo hoodie and a PS2 Network Adapter. I got a Spanish-English electronic translator from Justin and a spa basket from my mother-in-law. We got a $150 gift card to Home Depot to work on our house, as well.

We spent some time with Nolan and met his girlfriend, Anna. She was really cool. They're absolutely adorable together. She's a talented artist and a sweet girl. I'm looking forward to getting to know her better. Nolan is now enrolled at Northeast in the Networking program. I'm so proud of him. I'm glad to see him finding some direction. I'm so happy we'll be seeing more of him soon.

We also touched base with Justin's old professor at Northeast, Kris Coan. She's a great person and I'm glad that we stayed in touch after we left Norfolk. I also stopped in and saw my old boss at BMS, Rod, and we chatted for quite a while. Good times.

After that week, we headed on to Broken Bow, my parents' home. It was a much smaller town so we spent a lot of time with my family, just watching TV, sleeping, relaxing, and hanging out. The boys discovered their love for American board games and are now addicted to Monopoly. It's so cute.

The boys got Nebraska Starter coats and no-battery flashlights. Justin and I got a TON of camping stuff; super-king sleeping bag, enamel dishes, lexan silverware, a huge 3-ft tall air mattress, and a turbo pump to air it up. Then, waaaaay back behind the tree, my brother pulled out a motherboard box and handed it to Justin. Justin was like, "...this has to just be the box that the present is in - it can't actually be a motherboard!" My parents just smiled and nodded for him to open it. It was this INSANE motherboard with specs of d00meh. I cried because he was so excited. I was so happy for him. Three hours earlier, on our way there, he was mentioning how he was a little disappointed that he hadn't gotten any computer gear for Christmas.

So that was vacation.

On to the biggest thing that's happened.

For six months or longer, we've known that we were getting restless. So many obstacles... Things just weren't going right. We began to realize that it is time for us to go. Kingman was great for us at the time. We learned a lot and grew a lot while in Kingman. We established our independence, claimed jobs in our chosen fields on our own merit, and began our lives together. Things were good. We made investments, both emotionally and financially, and they are paying off. Good decisions and good times.

However, the job market is now much more welcoming back where we are from in Nebraska, and our family is all there. Our values and priorities are changing and with that is the restlessness telling us that we need to move. There are opportunities for education, and a break from the grueling maintenance of a huge house and yard. A church of 1200 awaits us and all the change that it involves. Justin has a possibility of some GREAT jobs there that will enable me to go to school full-time and not have to work.

Since deciding to move, our house has been a flurry of activity and a whirlwind of decisions. We are putting the house up for sale and all of the work that accompanies that decision is crashing down up on us. Several long-overdue maintenance issues are being resolved and everyday is a constant battle to make cosmetic repairs even with our limited budget and severe time restraints.

The big question that everyone immediately asks is "When?!?!?" The answer, painfully, is always "I don't know!" We will move when Justin secures a job up there. *sigh* I just keep praying. It's led me thus far.

The apartments that we're looking at are the Chateau Developments in Lincoln, Nebraska. They're a luxury community in the southeastern part of the city.
You can find them at http://www.chateaudev.com. We'll be in the Parkview complex, hopefully to occupy the 'Four Seasons I' floorplan.

You can find information on Lincoln here.
I'll be attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this fall and hopefully become a part of Capitol City Christian Church.

This update has been a long time in coming, sorry for the length.

Please keep us in your prayers, we will definitely need them in the upcoming months.
Love you guys!

Hilarious Meme...

Today was really tiring.
I got out of bed really late because my alarm clock has broken and I cannot afford a new one at the moment.

I feel a bit strange because we've just moved to Idaho and there's a weird smell in the house.

I'm so hardcore. Me and Buzz went to the mall today, and I stole a whole heap of stuff. I got a Good Charlotte CD, a couple of DVDs and some new boots. Buzz got caught, but he fought his way out, and then we stole some lady's car and smashed it into a phone booth.

Last night I had to go and pay Joshua's bail. He's such a jerk. He got arrested for punching the Walmart clerk in the face for refusing to sell him beer. He's only 16!

I want to tell the world that I love you all! You're all so special to me!

I am making this journal friends only because I don't want the world to read what I'm writing, even though I'm posting it on the internet.

Today, I got a digital camera! Yes! Here's ten thousand photographs of my cat.

I want to say thanks to the academy for giving me this award.

I went to the doctor yesterday, and he said I have bipolar disorder, and should stop smoking drugs.

You should all do this quiz! It's amazingly accurate. You just put in your name and birthday, and it will tell you you're a moron.

That's enough for now. But I'll leave you with this thought - sharing your life with strangers on the internet is the cheapest form of therapy available. Leave a comment and tell me I'm beautiful.

Created with the Gregor's Semi-Automatic LiveJournal Updater™.
A Great Day

What a fun day! Justin, Kyung Min, Hak Jun and I all went to Bullhead City today. The boys rode with the youth group who also was going and went to Scooters. Scooters is a family fun center that has a small arcade, batting cage, go-carts, mini-golf, and concessions. I got a 65 in 18 holes, smacked the heck out of some slow-pitch softballs, got smoked by Rachel and Justin on the go-cart track, and most importantly, discovered a new addiction. Dance Dance Revolution. I'm officially obsessed. We are going to ask Justin's mom for two DDR pads for Christmas and start collecting the games. It's a great way to work out and it was really fun. Aaron is going to try and find his old one and hook us up until Christmas.

After Scooters, Justin, Kyung Min, Hak Jun, Rachel, Kyle, and I all headed to the mall and had Chinese/Quiznos in the food court and then went turbo-shopping since we were running late already because the aforementioned DDR addiction. Kyung Min got a new jacket at the GAP, and Hak Jun picked up a new pair of Adidas at the shoe store.

We took off for the car and ran into Aaron and his mom on the way and kidnapped him. We got back to Kingman, dropped the boys off at the house and drove out to Rex's house for the Young Adult Group (YAG) Bonfire (that I organized and we were late for). We had so many people there! It was awesome.

We roasted hot dogs and had smores and got to see Rex's gorgeous new mansion that they're just finishing up. Four bedrooms, four baths and thousands of square feet. Master bedroom has tinted windows for walls, facing the east. Master bath has a circular cave for a shower. Their TV room is a circle with a 1/2 wall that they just threw a ton of bean bags in. The kitchen is massive and they have a loft in their teenagers room. They have a rec room with a ping pong table and a pool table. They have a hot tub and pool and a stinkin' TOWER to watch storms in the valley from. It's amazing.

We had a lot of new people at YAG so we went around and said a little about ourselves. I'm going to see how cool I am and if I can remember most of everybody's info.

Ken:
Age - 34
Occupation - Network Admin at MCC
From: New York City
Hobbies: Fishing, Music, Movies, Computers

Myself:
Age - 23
Occupation - Substitute Teacher
From: Nebraska

Rachel C:
Age - 17
Occupation - Hobo College Student
From: Kingman
Fascinating Fact: Graduated at 16

Rachel G:
Age - 17
Occupation - Hastings Associate
From: California
Fascinating Fact - Marrying Kyle in March

Brandon:
Age - 25
Occupation - Carpenter
From - ??
Fascinating Fact - He's a "lyricist" (doesn't like the stereotype that goes with "rapper")

Justin:
Age - 23
Occupation - Computer programmer/IT professor
From - Kingman
Hobbies - Spending unnatural amounts of time in front of a computer

Tara:
Age - 25
Occupation - Sales
Fascinating Fact - Likes 'Alias'

Patti:
Age - 25
Occupation - Teacher
Fascinating Fact - On the Dance Team

Brian:
Age - 31
Occupation - Pastor
From - Walla Walla, Washington
Hobbies - Reading

Alex:
Age - 18
Occupation - Housewife
From - San Jose, CA
Fascinating Fact - Married at 4pm today

Eugene:
Age - 21
Occupation - Laborer at American Woodmark

Beth:
Age - 24
Occupation - Kindergarten Teacher @ Cerbat
From - Casper, WY
Hobbies - Running, Sports
Fascinating Fact - Played soccer in college

Kyle C:
Age - 22
Occupation - Ag/Science Teacher
From - Oklahoma
Fascinating Fact - New owner of a shotgun, likes to shoot for sport

Aaron:
Age - 25
Occupation - Full time college student on a GI Bill
Fascinating Fact - He's blown up a refrigerator.......twice

Kyle M:
Age - 20
Occupation - Hastings Associate/IT Intern/College student
Hobbies - Computer games
Fascinating Fact - Marrying Rachel G in March

Derek:
Age - 21
Occupation - Lifeguard
Hobbies - Computer
Fascinating Fact - Always wears flip flops

I know that I probably forgot someone and that I missed a few things but, I'm glad I remembered what I did.

Woot for the Rach(a)el Rock!

I suppose that's it for now.

Rock on, people.
Peace.

Further Correspondence

Mr. Fail,

I welcome her responses to my post because this isn't much of a class without discussion. I simply would like respect in her responses. She is no better than I and I, no better than she. We need to speak in such a way as to reflect that.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter and please, if possible, please remove the offending posts from the forum. I don't feel like our dispute should be so public. I realize some may have read them already but I doubt the majority has.

Thanks,
Rachael

-----Original Message-----
From: RUSSELL FAIL [mailto:]
Sent: Monday, November 07, 2005 7:14 AM
To: Rachael Blaske
Subject: Re: Ethics PHI151

I have recieved an email from Ms. Price and she has stated she will not be responding to your posts.
So Angry

I haven't been this angry in a VERY long time.

Read this email to my online Ethics professor:
Mr. Fail,

I’m having a problem in your class. Evidently, one of the other students has taken issue with me personally. Here is the conversation, as you can see on the message boards:

Myself:
I understand your passion, Robin, but vigilantism is outlawed. Isn't that the same as martial law? Should vigilantism and martial law be enacted? I think that the chaos would be intense. Anarchists think that it would do well though, why is that?

Robin:
Wow Rachael , have you looked up the definition of martial law?? That is when the government takes over law enforcement and everything else, soldiers in the streets with guns, curfews put on all citizens.etc. It has nothing to do with vigilantiism. I am not condoning outright, rampant vigilantiism! If the law/courts don't do their job and someone who is so sick and twisted is loose on the streets I believe they are more of a danger to the world at large than one person making them disappear!. I don't mean randomly killing or making a list and going down the line. I am talking PERSONAL!! That is something I myself would be capable of doing. If you are uncomfortable with that then that just shows that people are different. I know what I believe and what I do not believe and I do NOT think like many other people. I am NOT politically correct. I call it like I see it and always have. I will not be swayed by religion or someone else's feelings, or your accusing statements.I trult don't care what you think of me. As for anarchy, well there are several definitions for that one but they all boil down to the absence of any sort of government(s)/laws . I'm not sure a land with no laws would be a good thing but, at the same time what good is a land where the laws are different for everyone? such as the rich, the ones close to those in power, the ones who are the right color or religion). I believe that is as wrong as having no law. And these are NOT nearly the same as martial law(see def. above). I don't know any anarchists. Do you? Until I do and I can ask them what really moves them, I am not going to just believe the usual media hype that we read. The media can make anything look like something different. so,until then I will withhold any statements about them.. Unlike some people I try not to speak about things I don't know anything about. Fair?

Myself:

Alright, look. I was mistaken in my definition of martial law and I can apologize for that. The rest of my questions were purely rheotorical and in the spirit of this class. I think that the rudeness was uncalled for, however. I think that we should be able to discuss things in this forum with maturity and politeness. I didn't care for your tone and I, for one, will not sink to a level of disrespect in my responses. Fair?

Robin:

You are a self rightous judgemental waant to be know it all. Don't respond to any more of my questions/statements. You have been on a mission since the abortion thing and I am tired of it. I will no longer respond and Russell I apologize to you but I have had enough. She insults me then tries to turn the tables. This is an ethics class not a personal issues class. I don't judge you and I am not rude. I am honest that's all. You attacked me with your attitude and if you treat people that way, get used to attitude.Move on Rachael!!

------

First of all, I more than likely handled this wrong, and I apologize. In the posts, I was mistaken on something and openly admitted my mistake. I felt the rest of the questions were valid and this is almost amusing because, quite honestly, I am still forming my opinion on the subject and was simply asking questions with no agenda whatsoever.

Second of all, with regard to the claim of my “mission” to personally attack her. It’s simply not true because of the simple fact that there are 30-something people in this class and I cannot possibly keep track of everyone’s personal ideas/ethics/stances. I simply click the respond button to whatever idea/comment is presented in that particular post and hardly EVER look at the name that it is representative of. As for her command to no longer respond to any of her comments, I don’t feel like that is a reasonable request and I don’t feel like I should be required to do so. Her ethics are worth discussing as well as everyone else’s. Quite honestly, I probably won’t notice that I’m replying to her specifically.

Third, “This is an ethics class, not a personal issues class.”? WHAT? I’m sorry, but I am quite convinced that the two are very closely related, if not one and the same.

Last, I was under the impression that this was a class where we are expected to be polite and civil. “You are a self-righteous judgmental want-to-be know-it-all” is a very interesting statement for someone in our class to make.

If I was in the wrong in any of this, please feel free to correct me in your response to this email. I will definitely make the necessary apologies to Robin if needed. I am not used to being in such volatile conversations and I am quite uncomfortable at this point. This is only week two and quite frankly, I’m dreading the rest of the course. Now that there has been the outburst, the others will probably read the accusations that Robin has made and hold me to be what she so openly has declared me to be. This will be a tough course from now on if that is the case.

Please respond, and if possible, call me. If I do not answer because I am teaching at the time, I will return your call at my earliest opportunity.

Notably concerned,

Rachael Blaske
